Medusa in Furs

Red Raven Gallery is pleased to present

 A show of Spectacular Beauty

We Welcome the incomparable talent of Jel ena, Serbian multi media artist all the way from her adopted home of Los Angeles.  Jel Ena's work displays a mastery of the figure and color. Her style is unmistakable and remarkably unique in its vision.  She works with graphite, colored pencil, pastel and paint to create creatures that are at once gorgeously fascinating and untouchable.  Emotion flows from their eyes and captivates the viewer.

Penitence

I am not the flesh of your penitence,
your fetishistic fingers will not pry
forgiveness from these lips.
you may rip out my heart
but it will not bleed,
there will be no pleasure for you
in my blood.

The Bad Apple Artist collective

I am extremely happy to announce I have been included in the Bad Apple artist collective, a great group of artistic, amazing, talented women.

The Bad Apple Artist Collective is a collaboration of artists banding together to showcase their arts and have some fun doing so while giving fans new, interactive means to view and appreciate the art and the artists themselves.
Through out communities, social networking and often selling venues there is a dark underbelly called the arts. Often Art is under appreciated in all it's forms.
Check out our Blog below :)

We will be hosting live interactive auctions. You will be able to talk to the artists direct. In these Auctions several artists will be showcased each with unique style.
There is so much more we plan on doing and we have the gears turning stay tuned and join the mailing list for future updates!

The Bad Apples artist collective is hosting a Group Auction at Tophatter, May 29th 2012, featuring products and prints from several Bad Apples. Make sure you sign up for Tophatter and RSVP to the auction. The more RSVPs we have, the more artworks can be listed.
